My Uncle Randy had a house fire in March and is still trying to reconstruct part of his house. Just as things were starting to return to a measure of normalcy... his bobcat broke down again. He can't accept jobs without his bobcat and he has already replaced parts in it multiple times. On top of all this his VA benefits were dropped. It wouldn't be too bad if he hadn't been in an explosion years ago in which he lost his fingers down to the knuckles and sustained 3rd degree burns over most of his body. He doesn't deal well in heat and gets sick a lot when the temp rises. His electricity gets wonky since the fire.
He's a good neighbor, friend, and family man. He has a wife and grandson to support and all of this has been intense for him. If you want to help out here is his go fund me page www.gofundme.com/3b3b3bv5nts

Update
Just a quick update on what happened over the Summer for my uncle. Enough people saw his go fund me that he got his bobcat and can start making a living again. He also made enough to fix the house enough so they weren't braving the elements. They even built another greenhouse on the south side of the house. Its coming along slowly but hes doing much better.
Thanks all for reading and double thanks for those who shared his go fund me page.
Toodles peeps!
New Journey
So, I have ordered bees and just gotten my safety gear for my new journey. I'm excited! We have eggs in an incubator that should be coming out next week as well. So farm wise its been a busy early Spring.... I refuse to use the W word right now with all the garden, chicken, and bee stuff going through my head! We have had very little snow this year, which will decrease the nitrogen amounts in the soil for our gardens unfortunately, but it'll melt fast right? Right? I hope so. We have Farmer's Market starting late May and I'm the market manager for that so I have a VERY busy Spring to Fall coming....not that I feel I rested much this W.......E
6,000 Views!
Thanks peeps for all the views! I had this elaborate plan to make a thank you in digital pixels... alas my busy and chaotic Spring (which just skipped straight to Summer heat) has prevented me from doing anything digitally productive.
